The opening is dazzling and a sunny vision, like finding yourself in an avenue of orange trees with their white flowers that never stop injecting their generous voluptuousness into the air. This appetizing sweetness begins to expand and gradually soften in a sweet combination of neroli and joyful cotton candy which finally dives and becomes completely soaked in the musky, vanilla and benzoin base... to remind us that happiness on some days can be truly infinite.
It is a well-balanced pyramid, with a modest evolution although still full of nuances and with an intense duration thanks to the precious version in 30% extract.
This perfume was composed upon returning from a happy trip to Sicily where I perceived the scent of the most majestic orange blossoms in Italy in the citrus growing locations I visited. The hospitality and art of Sicilian pastry making left in me such a lovely and delicious memory that it ignited the desire to try to reproduce these two sensorial characteristics that I brought with me from the island in olfactory notes.
This is how Zucchero di Neroli was born. A fragrance that puts optimism back into circulation, leaving us full of smiles and satiated with sensual white flowers.
This essence also brings to mind a teenager who still plays at being a child and leaves the amusement park with a puppet won in some shooting gallery and her hands sticky with some delicacy that you just can't do without when you go to the sideshows.
