At the opening, a juicy grapefruit leads the way to the round Bamboo accord. It is a very subtle play of chiaroscuro, a fragrance that relaxes but transforms into something more, a joyful meditative story. The characteristic of this accord is that it mixes with sugar cane, and it was like inserting a little heart leap, like wanting to remember that Arashiyama is a graceful place, where our thoughts become flexible, fluid. Amai Arashiyama means Sweet Arashiyama, this place is the most famous bamboo forest in the world and is located in Japan in the Kyoto area. Don't imagine a sweetish perfume, rather a well-trodden watercolor of delicate contrasts. A small note of rhubarb makes the composition more interesting, contributes to its natural evolution and is a tonic. Cedar wood, incense and amber release that depth that in my opinion every perfume needs. But that's not all: the natural elements and the absolutes that I wanted to use make everything vivid and iridescent. Like, for example, the Mediterranean pine absolute, which gives off a warmth all of its own, like the one you perceive in the Maremma returning from the beach on a July evening.

Fragrance description:

The citrus opening of the grapefruit brings the soul back to the axis of the sun while a small Calabrian bergamot blends with the breath of the milky woods transporting the senses into a heart of bamboo. You can smell the scent of greenery that creeps through the reeds making them sing like flutes filled by the wind. The sunset expresses the elegance of concentration where feminine and masculine energy meet in perfect balance, here are the pleasant scents, first warm and then still fresh, filling the heart with harmony, leaving behind a trail of Zen colors. Symbology of creation: Arashiyama is the most famous Japanese bamboo forest in the world, there is a particular atmosphere that conveys a lot of balance and illuminates everything, including souls.

The Bamboo note in perfumery is a fantasy accord or a set of sensations that the perfumer wants to convey through the story of something that in reality does not have a precise smell. Especially in childhood it has happened to almost everyone to have come across a trip to the river where they played with these pipes, improvising musical instruments or bases for huts. In this case the tactile, auditory and visual sensation is certainly greater than the olfactory one because what arrives is a very delicate scent of grass or leaf, a lymphatic smell but very tenuous and generic.
