PHAEDON ILANGUARA

The meeting of ylang-ylang from Madagascar and Guara almond from Alicante. Ylang flowers, (or flower of flowers in Malay) have been widely used in harem niches for their aphrodisiac properties. Their fragrance is floral, sweet, jasmine and spicy. The perfumer Gérard BERTRAND has tamed this particularly sensual character without erasing it, dressing it with the sweet and gourmet notes of the Guara almond from Alicante. The warmth of the balms marries with the woody notes of cedar, guaiac wood and vetiver to compose a fragrance similar to a cocoon, enveloping and reassuring with a floral and chypre heart.
