Verde Pistacchio
Eau de Parfum - 100 ml
The Young Dandy of the Villa Comunale
A spicy opening of bergamot and black pepper gives way to the buttery richness of pistachio, illuminated by orange blossom. An earthy embrace of patchouli and the softness of vanilla round out this gourmand fragrance, striking a perfect balance between the salty crunch of nuts and opulent sweetness.
IN THE MORNING
Taormina has just awakened. The morning air is crisp and clear, still imbued with the dew glistening on the leaves in the gardens of the Villa Comunale. It is the hour when the world feels full of possibility, when everything can be reinvented.
As I stroll among Lady Trevelyan’s Victorian follies, I come across a surreal and fascinating figure: a young dandy wearing a gold monocle—elegantly inlaid with Baroque motifs—and a sage-green linen suit. He is busy polishing the leaves of exotic plants with a silk handkerchief. He looks as though he has stepped right out of an Oscar Wilde novel. At this hour, in this garden, no one could be more out of place—or more perfect.
The moment he notices me, he snaps his fingers, and in an instant, the world around me explodes into a lush, almost blinding green—as if the early sunlight had decided to filter through everything solely via the leaves. I am greeted by a bold, spicy thrill of bergamot and black pepper—an irreverent opening that breaks the mold of the morning awakening.
The dandy approaches with a smile and silently offers me a pastry; my eyes drift shut.
The scent transforms: orange blossom illuminates a rich, buttery, and unmistakable note of pistachio. I catch a glimpse of a feast laid out on the damp grass—a perfect balance between the salty crunch of nuts and the sweetness of an opulent cream. A wave of provocative boldness washes over me, an irrepressible urge to break the rules with elegance before the day has even begun.
I open my eyes and it has all vanished, yet the air still holds the incredible scent of GREEN PISTACHIO, with the earthy embrace of patchouli and the softness of vanilla; it leaves me with a fresh sensation—like the promise of the Dandy who made me fall in love in my dream.
TAORMINA COLLECTION
Narcisse Taormina was born from an obsession with the imperfect beauty of this city, suspended between the sky and the Ionian Sea. We did not seek perfection; we sought magic.
The magic one breathes in at dawn in a Victorian garden, tastes on the checkered pavement of a piazza at sunset, and smells in the lava-stone alleys deep into the night.
Every fragrance is a dream come true.
Every dream is as real as the scent it leaves on the skin.
