PHAEDON ALBIZIA

Silk Tree, Acacia of Constantinople, "Silk Flower" in Persian, "Night Sleeper" in Iran, Nemuroki, meaning "Sleeping Tree" in Japan, Albizia is an ornamental tree native to Asia.
Its inflorescences are pinkish-white, pale pink or pink-red. Between May and July they exhale a complex and extremely delicate perfume. There is something of jasmine, reminiscent of ylang, clove leaves, pink peppercorns and a touch of wild strawberries. It is to the perfumer Pierre GUILLAUME that the Maison PHEDON has entrusted the mission of interpreting the theme of Albizia for its new feminine, thus describing its composition: "A puff of ambergris, in which oakmoss would have imprisoned the delicate scent of flowers of an Albizia beaten by the summer wind” .
